Since 2010, JPIIJPC empowering citizens of Uganda with knowledge and tools to actively participate in democratic processes, ensuring their voices are heard in shaping the nation's future. This is done through the Civic Education Handbook developed by the Centre. Engagements are done through radio programs, IEC materials, community and school outreaches and MADs. The Centre has engaged more than 20 various learning institutions and areas across all parts of Uganda. They are engaged on issues of human rights and responsibilities, leadership, good governance, justice, peacebuilding and environmental conservation. The goal is to ensure active citizens in Uganda and actively participating in the various democratic processes.
