JPIIJPC advocates for action against TIP and MS from duty bearers and right holders. This includes influencing those in authority to enforce the laws and policies in place, and the public to hold the leaders accountable.  The Centre carries out workshops on advocacy, research, and documentation to generate facts for advocacy. E.g., Research titled “Human Trafficking the Plight of Survivors” used to advocate for assistance to the survivors.  The Centre also conducts press conferences with key religious leaders calling on government and stakeholder to act against TIP  & MS. Lobby meetings are held with district officials, speaker of parliament, police, MoGLSD, OPM, and cultural and religious leaders. JPIIJPC presents papers on TIP and MS in National and International conferences. Annual National Ecumenical Day of Prayer on TIP & MS: to create awareness and promote the right and dignity of the victims of TIP. Advocacy yielded to the UEC coming up with a pastoral letter on TIP and MS. This which guides the country on the subject. 

The Centre has also participated in producing an advocacy paper for Universal Periodic Review (UPR) on TIP for the 40th Session, January – February 2022 and CEDAW.
