In February 2024, the Joint Pastoral Initiative for Interfaith and Justice Promotion (JPIIJPC) was honored with the prestigious St. John Paul II Vatican Foundation Award. This esteemed recognition celebrates institutions that contribute to promoting the legacy of Saint John Paul II.

The award was officially presented to JPIIJPC on May 22, 2024, during a grand ceremony at the Vatican’s Sala Regia in the Apostolic Palace. The ceremony was led by Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State. The award acknowledges the Centre’s efforts and commitment to the ideals and work of St. John Paul II, reflecting his vision of peace, justice, and human dignity.

Along with the award, JPIIJPC received 30,000 euros and a special relic of Saint John Paul II, further symbolizing the deep connection to his teachings and values. This recognition underscores the Centre’s dedication to promoting the spirit of St. John Paul II’s legacy through its impactful work in fostering unity, peace, and community development.
