In collaboration with the Laudato Youth Initiative, JPIIJPC organized a Nature Walk for the youth of Fort Portal Diocese, encouraging them to explore and appreciate the natural environment. The event featured guided walks, discussions on environmental stewardship, and reflections on the vital importance of protecting nature for future generations.
The Nature Walk aimed to engage the youth in understanding their role in safeguarding the environment, with a focus on sustainable practices and a deeper connection to the natural world.
Additionally, with support from Caritas Switzerland, JPIIJPC has been promoting waste separation practices at its Centre. Staff and tenants were sensitized about the importance of proper waste disposal and provided with waste bins and bags to help implement effective waste management.
This initiative fosters a cleaner, more sustainable environment and encourages responsible actions toward waste reduction.
Through these efforts, JPIIJPC continues to raise awareness and inspire action in preserving the planet for the benefit of all.
