JPIIJPC Partners with Africa Europe Faith and Justice Network to Promote Social Justice
In a remarkable step toward addressing key global issues, the Joint Pastoral Initiative for Interfaith and Justice Promotion (JPIIJPC) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Africa Europe Faith and Justice Network (AEFJN). This partnership marks a significant development as JPIIJPC becomes the official Antenna for AEFJN in Uganda, hosting AEFJN members and partners in the region.
The collaboration’s core mission is to collectively work toward promoting social justice, with a strong focus on critical issues such as land rights, food security, climate change, and economic justice. These topics are of immense importance, particularly in regions like Uganda, where communities face numerous challenges related to these pressing matters. By combining their resources and expertise, both organizations aim to make a lasting impact, advocating for fairer policies and practices that will benefit the most vulnerable populations.
Already, the partnership has borne fruit with the successful launch of a food security project in Adjumani District. This project seeks to address the urgent need for sustainable agricultural practices and reliable access to food, a vital issue for many households in the region. Through this initiative, JPIIJPC and AEFJN are working closely with local communities to ensure long-term solutions for food security, providing not only immediate relief but also long-term strategies for self-sufficiency and resilience.
This collaboration underscores the importance of working together on a global scale to address the interconnected challenges of land rights, climate change, and economic inequality. The partnership between JPIIJPC and AEFJN is a shining example of how organizations can unite their efforts to create positive change for marginalized communities and promote social justice on a global level.
