Mission Statement

Our Mission is to foster just and compassionate relations through formation in the Social Teaching of the Church, research and advocacy. We seek intergral human development, empowerment of local communities and of national leaders in the work for justice and peace, with special attention to the most vulnerable.

Who We Are
• A Consortium for Justice and Peace, founded by six Religious Families: Missionaries of Africa, Mill Hill, Comboni sisters and fathers, Holy Cross, and Jesuits.

• We are engaged in critical research and Christian reflection on issues of Justice and Peace, to actively address the root causes of social evils threatening our Country.

• We are committed to make the Catholic Social Teaching known and integrated in all our different services.

• We are concerned with empowering people, especially those affected by poverty, corruption, violence and violation of human rights, to find a creative just and peaceful way in overcoming evil with good.

• We are eager to network with all people of goodwill, JP groups, Congregations, Ministries, Universities in and outside the Country, to build a Kingdom of Justice, Compassion and Peace.
